Celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor is one of the guests on the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Mickey was among the famous designers and artists from the entertainment industry who were invited to the show, along with Neeta Lulla, Dabboo Ratnani, Allan Amin, Aalim Hakim, and Ganesh Acharya.
Those who have watched Kapil Sharma on his comedy show know that the host loves taking digs at judge Archana Puran Singh, who sportingly goes along with the many gags.
Staying true to tradition, Kapil asked Mickey, who has been known to be the makeup artist of the stars for several decades, if he could tell how much makeup Archana needs.
Playing along, Mickey joked, "I have worked a lot with Archana, and she is beautiful. She would need 5-7 grams of makeup. I like to do light makeup."
Archana laughed along and told him, "Mickey, don't lie. At least 8 grams is needed."
On Sridevi's transformation in Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja
In another part of the episode, Mickey got nostalgic and revealed that the best transformation that he had ever done was for Sridevi in the 1993 film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.
One might recall that Sridevi appeared in a Chinese look for the song Thenga Thenga in the film. And Mickey revealed that even though he didn't have the dates, he did Sridevi's makeup for the song after she personally requested him to do so.
Calling her a thorough professional, Mickey recalled that even though Sridevi's skin peeled while taking off her wig after the shoot of the song, she was back on set the next day so that the continuity was not affected.
