Middle Class, the recently released Tamil film is all set to make its OTT debut very soon. As reported by us earlier, ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film, which has announced the release date. Middle Class will be available on OTTplay Premium as well very soon, in time for Christmas.

Middle Class is a 2025 Tamil film starring Munishkanth, Vijayalakshmi and others. The film is a slice-of-life drama which revolves around a middle-class family. It hit theatres in November and after a month of big screen run, it now set for OTT premiere. ZEE5 has announced the release date as December 24, just before Christmas. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also watch Middle Class as well.
Directed by Kishore M Ramalingam, the film is rooted in the everyday realities of middle-class living, including the stress of EMIs, daily finances and budgeted living. However, when one such family gets a rare opportunity to wash off all their constraints at one go, how does the family do so, forms the rest of the story. Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth, Vijayalakshmi, and Radha Ravi among others form the cast of the film. With elements of comedy, emotions and philosophy of life, Middle Class is a slice-of-life narrative that offers some relatability and hope.

Meanwhile, there are some films that are planned for Christmas release in Tamil, including crime drama Sirai starring Vikram Prabhu and Arun Vijay’s action thriller Retta Thala. Besides, there is Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha, Nivin Pauly’s Sarvam Maya and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri in Hindi.
