Mimi Chakraborty’s Holi celebration begins in Vindravan and will continue in Kolkata

Spring is here, and so is Holi. Actress Mimi Chakraborty left the city to celebrate Holi differently. She is now far from Kolkata. Mimi already played Holi and posed in front of the camera with gulal on her face and forehead. A white veil was on her head and she wore a bright green salwar kameez. She posted the photo on X and wrote, 'Radhe Radhe'. She also wrote, “In this country of love and fear, my Holi started a bit soon,” and shared a love emoji. 

Mimi posted two photos on Instagram Story also. According to Hindustan Times Bangla, Mimi is in Vrindavan. Her secretary said, “Mimi went to Vrindavan.” Will she spend Holi there? “No, she will be back to Kolkata before that.”

Mimi is now only an actress since she removed herself from politics after resigning from her MP post a few days back. Saayani Ghosh replaced her as the Jadavpur TMC candidate in the upcoming election. 

Mimi, after resigning, said that she understood politics was not for her. She also complained that she faced obstacles while working. However, she submitted a detailed report on what amount she spent in what sector from her MP fund in the last five years. Mimi will soon debut in Bangladeshi cinema with the film Toofan. Many Tollywood actresses, including Rituparna Sengupta and Srabanti Chatterjee, have acted in Bangladeshi films. Mimi is the latest addition to the list.
