The first look poster of the Mollywood actor Jayasurya's film John Luther is out. The poster was unveiled by none other than the first South Indian superhero Tovino Thomas. Thomas took to social media to share the excitement as he posted the first look. Tagging the movie, he wrote on his Facebook post: "Happy to unveil the first look poster of #JohnLuther starring our dear Jayettan Jayasurya, written & directed by Abhijith Joseph, produced by Thomas P Mathew. A Shaan Rahman Musical. Best wishes to the entire team!"

The poster shows Jayasurya in an intense look against a sepia backdrop. The actor is play the role of a cop. He is seen in a black shirt and khaki pants. The crime thriller is written and directed by debutant Abhijit Joseph and also stars Siddique, Tanvi Ram, Aditi Ravi, Deepak Parambol and Indrans. The music is by Shaan Rahman. Roby Varghese Raj has been roped in for cinematography and Praveen Prabhakar as editor for the movie. It is backed by Thomas P Mathew and Christeena Thomas.

The film was announced in August 2020 with a title poster in shades of sepia. However, it went on floors only over a month ago. Even though there has been a delay due to the COVID-19, actor Jayasurya had earlier told OTTplay that he iss happy that the makers supported Abhijit's vision and stood by him. Thanking producers, the Sufiyum Sujathayum actor said that he too personally believes in the filmmaker. 

Apart from John Luther, the lineup of his upcoming projects includes Rojin Thomas’ 3D fantasy epic Kathanar and Nadirshah’s Eesho. Jayasurya recently won his third Kerala State Award for his performance in Prajesh Sen’s Vellam.
