Where to watch Mirage 2025 on OTT

The 2025 Malayalam film Mirage, which hit theatres on September 19, dropped in the digital world exactly a month after its theatrical release on October 19. The Asif Ali-starrer started streaming on SonyLiv on Sunday. OTTplay Premium subscribers can also watch the mystery thriller in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. The Malayalam film is also available in Marathi and Bengali on the platforms.

Notably, Mirage is the latest Jeethu Joseph film to hit screens before he started working on Drishyam 3 with Mohanlal. Unlike Jeethu Joseph’s other films, Mirage, with the tagline Fades As You Get Closer, failed to impress audiences, with critics blaming the weak screenplay. This is surprising, considering that Mirage is co-written by Jeethu Joseph, the brain behind the hugely popular Drishyam. All eyes are now on Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 3, which has kick-started shooting with Mohanlal back as Georgekutty. Despite the poor box office performance, Mirage is expected to find takers in the digital world.

What is the story of Mirage

Mirage stars Aparna Balamurali as Abhirami, who is left distressed about her fiance Kiran’s mysterious disappearance. She seeks to find him, but is baffled by the revelations about him. Asif Ali too joins her in her quest as online journalist Aswin. The two sets out to find the truth but they are drawn into a far sinister web of lies and lurking danger.

The film features Hakim Shahjahan as the mysterious Kiran, along with Hannah Reji Koshy and Deepak Parambol.

On the other hand, Asif Ali’s another film Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali also dropped on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium on October 17. But the most-awaited Malayalam film in the digital space is the blockbuster Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra, which will drop on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) soon. But a release date is yet to be announced by the platform.
