Mirai - Manchu Manoj looks menacing as 'The Black Sword' in Teja Sajja's action drama

Teja Sajja is making back-to-back films, and one of them is Mirai, directed by Karthik Gattamneni. Karthik last made Eagle with Ravi Teja. Though the film ended as a massive dud at the box office, Karthik was praised for his stylish direction.

Manchu Manoj plays a negative role in Mirai

He is now busy with his new film, Mirai, which has Teja Sajja as the main lead. The film is done with half of its shoot, and the special aspect is that none other than the popular hero, Manchu Manoj, is playing the main villain in the film. As Manoj celebrates his birthday today (May 20, 2024), the makers released his look from the film.

A small teaser showcasing Manoj as The Black Sword was revealed today, and the talented actor kills it in his stylish avatar. In the promo, Manoj looks menacing. His new look and stylish avatar give the film a new edge.

Credit should go to Karthik Gattamneni for showcasing Manoj in such a new avatar. The makers have also revealed the release date of the film, as Mirai will be released on April 18, 2025, as a summer special.

Manchu Manoj was down and out when he divorced his first wife. He went into depression and later made headlines for his love affair with a married woman from a powerful political family. But things turned in his favour as he not only married her but is now the proud father of a baby girl.

Apart from this, he made his OTT debut with the show Ustaad, which was a smash hit on ETV Win. Now, he is making his big-screen comeback with Mirai, and his look from the action drama is stunning.
