Mirzapur 3 releasing on August 22? Pramod Pathak’s JP Yadav leaves fans further confused

While fans of Mirzapur 3 were almost certain of June 23 release after ‘Radhiya’ Prashansa Sharma said the date in the last teaser, there’s more confusion now that a new promo is out. In the latest one, JP Yadav, played by Pramod Pathak, has a new date. His date is contrasting with what Radhiya gave us, and that has left fans confused.

August 22 release?

In the new promo, Yadav is heard talking about the date. When asked twice, he gives a glare and gives August 22 as the date. “Likh ke le lo,” he promises. When asked if it is confirmed, there’s another glare. Pissed at how his authority was questioned, Yadav says, “Abbe politician ki jabaan hai,” further asking people to believe him. On that note, he bids goodbye.

Radhiya said it would be June 23

Just a day back, Prashansa Sharma’s Radhiya said that the show will be out on June 23. This is closer to the date that was speculated, which is end of June and start of July. Prior to that, Anil George, who plays Lala on the show, also hinted that the series will be a summer release.

Trailer vs series release dates?

It now appears that Radhiya was talking about Mirzapur 3 trailer’s release date, while Yadav might be talking about the show itself. However, one cannot be certain at this point. Except for the fact that the makers are going to unveil the teaser of the show very soon.

More about the upcoming show

Although Divyendu Sharma had stated that he will not be a part of Mirzapur 3, there are reports that suggest he rather will but in a unique way. The actor has not shot for this season but of course, the makers can always replay his scenes from season 1 and 2 or bring in some additional shots, which were never a part of the show.

Apart from that, Mirzapur 3 will bring back the iconic characters of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, and Vijay Varma, among others. Since Guddu killed Divyendu’s Munna bhaiyya, it will now be a tough battle between Guddu, Kaleen, Beena, Sharad, Golu, and Shatrughan. The new season will continue its trend of partnerships and betrayals as everyone gets out to prove who is the supreme in power.
