There are constant rumours about Mirzapur season 3’s release at the end of June or beginning of July. It appears that there was after all some truth to the rumours. The makers have shared a new promo featuring ‘Lala’ Anil George. This is the second video after ‘Dadda Tyagi’ Lilliput also refused to give us a confirmed date of the show’s release.
Lala goes ‘bade haraami ho beta’
When told that he keeps his word and wouldn’t give the viewers a wrong date, Lala says that he’s a businessman who cares about where the wind is blowing rather than the dates. “Iss waqt Mirzapur ki hawa behad garam hai,” he says, thus hinting at the show’s summer release. When the hint was taken, he went with his iconic dialogue, “Bade haraami ho beta,” only to add that he will talk about rates over dates. By the end of the promo, he tries to sell drugs.
Dadda and the date
When Dadda was asked about the date, he mentioned 4-11. He then went on to say that is not the date but his height. Being his usual self, Dadda screamed that he might be half in terms of body, but his mind works at full capacity. Of course, it was in that moment that Dadda lost his calm and started throwing things, only to lash out and eventually leave.
About Mirazpur 3
Excel Entertainment’s Mirzapur 3 went on floors in July 2022. The show will bring back the iconic characters of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, and Vijay Varma, among others. It was scheduled for early 2024 release but it appears that the series will now be out in July. This time around, Divyendu Sharma will not return as Munna Bhaiya. However, since Guddu killed him, it will now be a tough battle between Guddu, Kaleen, Beena, Sharad, Golu, and Shatrughan. The new season will continue its trend of partnerships and betrayals as everyone gets out to prove who is the supreme in power.
