Mismatched: Pichle Janam Mein thriller trailer: Prajakta Koli-Rohit Saraf's rom-com show turns horror drama

Before the arrival of the highly anticipated third instalment, the makers of Mismatched have dropped a parody video of the trailer that sees the rom-com show turning into a horror drama. The latest promo video titled Mismatched: Pichle Janam Mein, begins with showcasing the university as an old fort and a few actors possessed with some spirits.

The latest thriller trailer begins by showcasing the university and other parts of the city in a very gloomy light, while the creepy background music adds the thriller to it. A few sequences from the last two seasons get showcased but not in their usual rom-com way but in a spooky montage. A background voice asks someone, "Tell me something about yourself that you don't want me to know." 

Rohit can be seen talking to someone in the car about a mysterious envelope, which seems a little suspicious. A few other actors can be seen getting emotional and crying to themselves as well, while at the end Rohit and Prajakta can be seen in retro attires like old Bollywood actors.

The makers dropped the latest video with a quirky and intriguing caption that reads, "Were they a mismatch…or got matched at a wrong time? Watch both seasons of Mismatched, streaming only on Netflix! (Sic)."

The third season of the coming-of-age romantic drama series is in the works and is set to arrive on the OTT giant this year.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari, it also stars Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malvade, Sanjana Sarathy, Priya Banerjee, Taaruk Raina, Muskkaan Jaferi, Ahsaas Channa and Dipannita Sharma among others.
