Starring Kim Min-joon and Seo Young in the leads, Miss Butcher, the mystery thriller drama, is set to drop on Lionsgate Play and OTTplay Premium, on May 30, 2025. The 1-hour-34-minute drama was released in 2017 in South Korea. Now, the film is making its India debut after eight long years.

What's the plot of Miss Butcher?

The film begins with the picture of a quiet hotel room, where something terrible has happened in the past. A man was killed in a very heinous way while he was with another person in the room. Now, detective Gu-ho has been charged to investigate the murder.

As detective Gu-ho starts looking into the case, his attention turned to a woman, named Soon-ae, who owns a butcher shop. For some reason, Gu-ho begins to think that Soon-ae might have something to do with the murder.

Hence, Gu-ho starts to spy on Soon-ae. He keeps a keen eye on her, asks people about her, and also has a chat with her in person. But as he spends more time looking into her life, something unexpected happens. Slowly, Gu-ho realises that he has fallen in love with Soon-ae. The more he learns about her, the more he finds himself attracted to her. This makes his job as a detective even more complicated.
