Are you excited about Miss World 2025? The 72nd edition of Miss World 2025 is going to take place in Telangana's capital, Hyderabad. When and where to watch Miss World 2025 online?

The opening ceremony of Miss World 2025, the 72nd edition, will be streaming live on SonyLIV from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on May 10. It will be available on OTTplay Premium as well. The schedule for the entire competition will be shared by the streaming platform early next week.

Amid rising tensions in the Indo-Pakistan border region, Hyderabad is set to host the Miss World 2025 pageant with an inaugural ceremony at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on May 10. Notably, the 2024 edition was held in Mumbai.

Speaking about contestants, the 72nd edition will have 115 contestants from across continents. Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan is representing India.

The venue has been equipped with advanced security measures, fire safety protocols, VIP enclosures and media zones. These security measures are in addition to the security measures taken following India's military strike code post-Operation Sindoor. 

Earlier, the former Telangana Tourism Secretary Smita Sabharwal in an interview with The Hindu said," It’s not a ticketed event. It’s by invitation only. That decision rests with the Miss World organisers, not the Telangana government. They have a longstanding tradition and theme they want to continue following. However, we’re making efforts to invite a wide spectrum of people who can be positively impacted by the event."
