A freak accident on the set of Vishal's upcoming film Mark Antony yesterday had the entire film industry talking. The shoot is happening at a brisk pace in Chennai and the almost entire cast and crew are present for the same. Yesterday's scene involved a truck entering the set. The truck was supposed to pause but it lost control and damaged the set that was erected for the shoot. A video of the same is doing the rounds on social media. In the video, a heavily loaded truck is ramming through.

Vishal said that the truck missed his life by a matter of seconds. He wrote, "Jus missed my life in a matter of few seconds and few inches, Thanks to the Almighty Numb to this incident back on my feet and back to shoot, GB (sic)." SJ Suryah, too, replied in his cheekily manner, and said if the truck had come heading straight, he wouldn't be sitting there and tweeting about it. He replied to Vishal's post saying, "Really really thx to god noolizhaiil Uire thappinom …. Accidentally, instead of taking the straight root , lorry went little diagonal and accident happened, if it would have come straight we both wouldn’t have been tweeting now Yah great thx to GOD we all got escaped (sic)."

Mark Antony is directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who had earlier helmed the films Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan. The team had earlier released the posters of the actors from the film in which they were seen in quirky retro avatars. Ritu Varma plays the leading lady, while Telugu actor Sunil will be seen in a crucial role. Music for the film is by GV Prakash. It is to be noted that Vishal had met with an accident thrice on his last outing Laththi.

After Mark Antony, Vishal is likely to begin work on his directorial debut Thupparivalan, in which he plays a detective.
