Missing, a suspense thriller, starring Harsha Narra, Nikkesha, Misha Narang, Chathrapathi Sekhar and Ram Dutt in key roles, is gearing up for a theatrical release on October 29. The film is written, scripted and helmed by debutant Srini Josyula. Bhaskar Josyula and Lakshmi Seshagiri Rao Narra of Bajarangabali Creations have banrkolled this project. The promos of Missing are already making a splash at the theatres and have had audiences curious about its intriguing plot. Ahead of its release, the makers have released a promotional song Khullam Khulla. Filmmaker Krish had launched the number today.

Khullam Khulla, sung by Anurag Kulkarni, starts on an interesting note. The director and the producer are in a conversation with the composer Ajay Arasada about coming up with a foot-tapping number that would work as a promotional song, in stark contrast to the suspense-filled background score throughout the film. As Ajay immediately says yes, the scene shifts to a room where he is accompanied by singer Anurag, who is donning a white overcoat. Anurag's number takes off amidst a wacky ambience filled with disco lights where hues of different colours keep flashing throughout.

The song, penned by Wasistha Sharma, is a satire on the ways of the world and how it is driven by manipulation, greed and deceit. The makers use the number smartly to introduce the cast and crew that have worked on the film, who take turns to appear in the final segment of the song. The ending, where Harsha Narra alleges that he's not being given a proper introduction, a man comes to him and says, "You're anyway there in the entire film. Why this humbug." Khullam Khulla is shot well and has catchy lyrics.

The arresting visuals, the top-notch technical standards and a gripping plot make Missing a perfect big-screen experience, say the cast and crew. The film is edited by Satya G, while Deeksha Reddy and Sruthy Kiran have served as the production designer and stylist respectively.
