Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One has managed to stay afloat at the Box Office. The film faced severe competition from Barbenheimer aka Barbie and Oppenheimer but is still working at the Box Office. It managed to enter Rs. 100 crore club a few days back and is still in competition with Christopher Nolan’s film.

According to a report on Sacnilk, the movie had earned Rs. 103.85 crores on day 21. That day, Tom Cruise entered Rs. 100 crore club for the first time in India.

Now, if a report on Republic TV is anything to go by, then Mission Impossible: 7 has earned Rs. 104.92 crores till day 24. The film struggled for a while for the three days and earned Rs. 1 crore more.

Since the weekend is here, Mission Impossible is likely to earn more. However, it is also likely that the movie will face heavy competition. Afterall, the audiences are still divided between watching Oppenheimer and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, apart from Mission Impossible.

When talking about the global Box Office though, Barbenheimer have left Mission Impossible way behind. Even Barbie, which is shunned in India, is a superhit outside of the country.

Even though Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One had an underwhelming performance even in India, the movie is a hit nonetheless. The last film to come close to the collections in the franchise was Mission: Impossible Fallout which earned Rs. 80 crores in 2018.

The only other two films apart from Mission Impossible: 7 to make it to Rs. 100 crore club in India are Vin Diesel’s Fast X and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. While Fast X is now on OTT, Oppenheimer continues its glorious run in theatres.
