Mission Majnu on Netflix: Sidharth Malhotra turns ‘desh ke liye Majnu’ ahead of teaser launch

Just two days since announcing its release date, the makers of Sidharth Malhotra-Rashmika Mandanna’s Mission Majnu have now revealed when the film’s teaser will be out. Sidharth has turned ‘desh ke liye Majnu’ ahead of the teaser launch too. He unveiled a poster revealing the date and hinting at the story of Mission Majnu.

Sidharth shared a new poster from Mission Majnu. In this photo, he stands tall in a blue kurta with black overcoat. The actor looks at someone directly, almost focusing on the one person. Fortunately, the look doesn’t appear to be a romantic one per say, at least not in the way a man looks at a girl.

The Shershaah actor has also revealed through one of his hashtags that even though Majnu is linked to Laila, this Majnu is linked to his country. ‘Desh ke liye Majnu’ is one of his hashtags with the poster. This indeed reveals that Sidharth in the role of Majnu (likely an undercover name) is a spy ready to go the lengths for India (again hinted after Mission Majnu in Sidharth’s post).

More details will be out once the teaser releases. Through the poster, Sidharth did share that the teaser of the Netflix film will be out tomorrow i.e. on December 16, 2022.

Mission Majnu stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The movie marks her debut in Bollywood, as the lead.

The film is headed for a direct-to-OTT release, just like Shershaah. It will start streaming on Netflix from January 20, 2023.
