Mission Majnu teaser: Sidharth Malhotra kills without a gun

Sidharth Malhotra is here as Majnu in his upcoming offering, Mission Majnu. The first teaser of the film that released sees the actor play a dangerous game - one which involves bullets. He, however, chooses to not keep the gun.

"Oh gun toh le jaa," Sharib Hashmi says in the teaser. To that, Sidharth replies, "Rakh le. Mere kaam karne ka tareeka kuch alag hai."

This is a part of what Sidharth hinted with his post while announcing the teaser date. He had called the character 'desh ke liye Majnu.' That is probably the actor's way of sharing that his character does not use guns but words as a tool to win.

Another memorable dialogue comes with Sidharth's first ever dialogue in the teaser. It is, "Main apne desh ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hoon."

The actor is seen in so much action in the teaser one might just end up calling him the action hero even if Ayushmann Khurrana has taken that title currently. From jumping out of a train to dodging bullets, everything about Mission Majnu screams commercial potboiler.

Mission Majnu also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. It is her Bollywood debut as the lead with this film. However, unfortunately, her role in the teaser is limited to celebrating her 'qubool hai' moment with Sidharth.

Mission Majnu is a direct-to-OTT release. The film will start streaming on Netflix from January 19, 2023.
