Mission Majnu trailer: Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer promises an adventurous journey of a spy

The trailer of Mission Majnu is finally here. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, the upcoming espionage thriller drama stars Sidharth Malhotra as an Indian spy and Rashmika Mandanna as his love interest. After a few debates, the film is finally slated to have a direct-to-OTT release.

The latest trailer sees Sidharth as an Indian spy working secretly in Pakistan to gather crucial information. The video begins with a background voice revealing that Pakistan is illegally making nuclear bombs and they need to find the nuclear facility and neutralize it and they need intelligence for that. "Someone who can finish this job without getting the attention from anyone," says the intelligence officer.

Moving on, Sidharth enters the montage and can be seen taking on multiple small-time jobs such as tailoring, plumbing and more to keep moving from one place to another and even in the offices and houses of politicians and police officers in Pakistan to gain all the crucial information. 

The Shershaah actor is also seen doing some actions and combating a few men including police officers in Pakistan.

After a while, Rashmika enters the video as the titular actor's muse and later they can be seen getting married too. At the end of the video, the actor proudly yells, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."

Sidharth shared the latest trailer on his official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "Jo khud se pehle desh ke baare mein soche, wahi hain #DeshKeLiyeMajnu 🇮🇳 Aisa hi ek Majnu hai Amandeep Singh jisne India ke sabse khatarnak mission ke liye apni jaan ki baazi laga di Watch Mission Majnu, a spy thriller inspired by true events. Releasing on 20th January, only on Netflix. #MissionMajnu #NetflixIndia (sic)."

Mission Majnu, which also has Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, Zakir Hussain, Dj Virus, Kumud Mishra, Arjan Bajwa and Rajit Kapur, is all set to release on Netflix on January 20.
