Abhinav Sardhar, who shot to fame with films like The Ghost Resort and Ram Asur earlier, recently starred in an action thriller titled Mistake. He also produced the film under his home banner ASP Media House. The film had popular choreographer Bharrath Komalapati turning a director. Ajay Kathurvar, Sujith Kumar, Teja Ainampudi, Karishma Kumar too played key roles in it.
The film had a limited release, with a brief run in theatres across Telugu states. Nearly two months after its theatrical release, the film is gearing up for its OTT launch. Noted streamer aha has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of Mistake and announced the global premiere date this week. The thriller will be arriving on aha on October 13.

“One ‘Mistake'..! Can change the entire story.. Coming on aha #MistakeOnAha,” aha tweeted, to confirm the news. Going by the promos, the film commences with a group of friends embarking on a trip and they’re chased by an anonymous person. They’re later trapped in a jungle. But for a brief respite, the story takes unexpected twists and turns, keeping the viewer glued to the screens.
Taniya Kalrra, Priya Paul, Raja Ravindra, Sameer are also part of the cast. Upon the film’s release, the dialogues and Abhinav Sardhar’s look received praise from critics. “Like the title, the film started through a mistake and we made it on a grand scale. I really liked the story. Hari, the cinematographer, worked really hard on it. The music came out well,” Abhinav said at a promotional event.
Mani Zenna is the composer of the film while Hari Jasthi is the cinematographer. Vijay Mukthavarapu is the editor and Sriharsha Manda wrote the dialogues. Ravi Kumar is the art director. Pruthvi Shekar supervised the action sequences and Nidhi is the executive producer. Mistake is certain to get a wide reach through aha’s OTT release and promises to be a riveting watch.
