Mithai to meet Didi No 1 soon

The wait is going to be over for Mithai fans as their favourite character from the Zee Banga television will soon take part in Didi No 1. This Lakshmi Puja, October 9, the lead actress of the show Soumitrisha Kundu, aka Mithai, will join Rachna Banerjee in the game show. This will be the first time for Mithai to take part in the popular reality show, where several other actors and actresses, including other actors of the serial Mithai, also took part. 

Meanwhile, it will not be Soumitrisha alone. Along with Mithai, her Uchhe Babu, aka Adrit Roy, will also be seen in the show. However, he will not take part as a competitor. Instead, he will take part to sing songs to entertain the audience. The channel has launched the promo, which shows Soumitrisha in a gorgeous yellow silk saree, just like she appears in the serial, with her trademark English accent. Her sisters-in-law Nipa and Shritama will also be present in the reality show and will be seen dancing to the song Param Sundari. 

Meanwhile, the TV serial Mithai is not doing well on the TRP chart. After being on the top for weeks, the serial has now gone below the fifth ranking. Rumors about ending the serial are also doing the rounds. It is heard that Mithai will either lose the slot or will end as soon as Nimfuler Madhu is released. However, Adrit and Soumitrisha remained tight-lipped regarding this. But the fans are not happy. For a long time, no new promo of Mithai has been released by the channel. Hence, the appearance of Mithairani at Didi Number 1 can offer some relief to the fans.
