Mithila Palkar to make her Tamil debut with Oho Enthan Baby, co-starring Vishnu Vishal’s brother Rudra

We had earlier reported that actor Vishnu Vishal, who was recently seen in Lal Salaam, will be launching his brother Rudra . The film’s titled was revealed as Oho Enthan Baby in an announcement made on Sunday. Following this, the makers of the film, on Monday, revealed that actor Mithila Palkar will be playing the female lead.

Oho Enthan Baby will mark Mithila's debut in Tamil film industry. The actor, who shot to fame with Little Things web series, was seen in Hindi films like Karwaan, Tribhanga, and Ori Devuda in Telugu.

About Oho Ethan Baby

Titled Oho Enthan Baby, the film is directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar of Modern Love Chennai fame (Episode: Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukkura Emoji). Mithila will be playing the female lead. The project went on floors on Sunday, with the first clap by director Suseenthiran. The director had introduced Vishnu Vishal through his 2009 sports drama Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. The film is produced by Rahul and actor Vishnu Vishal himself under his home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The music for the film is scored by Darbuka Siva. The makers are yet to announce the rest of cast and technical crew members.

Interestingly, the Lal Salaam star had been hinting about launching his brother in Tamil cinema for a few years now. In 2021, the actor had first announced that he was planning to launch his brother through a social media post, looking for suitable scripts. “We are now looking out for Feature Film scripts that will suit actor Rudra,” Vishnu Vishal had shared.

Mithila Palkar’s body of work

Mithila Palkar made her acting debut in the 2014 Marathi short film Majha Honeymoon after which she subsequently appeared in Katti Batti in a supporting role. However she shot to fame with her web series Little Things, which co-starred Dhruv Sehgal. She portrayed the role of Kavya for four seasons of the romantic drama. After appearing in Hindi films like Karwaan and Tribhanga, she made her Telugu debut with Ori Devuda. It was the remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule.
