Mithra Mandali out on OTT: Here's where to watch Priyadarshi-Niharika NM's comedy film online

Priyadarshi's latest comedy film, Mithra Mandali, has made its digital debut today (November 6). The movie, which also marked social media content creator Niharika NM's acting debut, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video with English subtitles. This new-age comedy film, which hit the screens on October 16, began streaming online ahead of the typical 30-day theatrical window. It is reasonable to believe that the movie's early online release was due to its box office failure. Amazon Prime Video reportedly paid a high price for the digital rights of Mithra Mandali. 

The movie's availability on this popular OTT website was confirmed only a day before. The movie is receiving a clearer version for the OTT release, according to Priyadarshi, who shared the news on social media. This indicates that the runtime has been shortened, along with a few scenes. Recent Telugu films to stream on Amazon Prime Video include Anushka Shetty's Ghaati, #Single and Anupama Parameswaran-starrer Paradha.

Mithra Mandali plot, cast and other details

Critics praised the main characters for their hilarious performance, particularly Niharika's. Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, VTV Ganesh, Vennala Kishore, and Prasad Behara all played minor roles in the film. In Mithra Mandali, a gang of losers clash with a politician and end up in a disastrous situation. 

The makers of the movie made every effort to publicise it, including screening special premieres before its release. All of this failed, though, and Mithra Mandali turned out to be one of Priyadarshi's biggest failures. The film, which was directed by Vijayender S, received harsh trolling due to its excessive humour. The soundtrack 'Jambar Gimbar Lala' from the film had garnered likes from viewers with Brahmanandam making a cameo appearance in its video. Siddharth SJ is the cinematographer of the movie, while Kodati Pavan Kalyan handled the editing.
