Directed by Kapil Sharma, Mithya The Darker Chapter turned out to be more grittier and thrilling. Huma reprised the role of Juhi Adhikari in the series while Avantika Dassani played Rhea Rajguru. ZEE5 dropped a new promotional poster of Mithya The Darker Chapter featuring Huma Qureshi. The actress' character Juhi Adhikar looks tense in the poster which suggests her secrets might get exposed. Sharing the promo on Instagram, the streaming platform wrote, "How far will she go for the secrets and lies? Watch MithyaTheDarkerChapter now streaming, only on ZEE5! (sic)." In the second season, Huma's character Juhi is accused of plagiarism by Naveen Kasturia's Amit Chaudhary.
Huma Qureshi on playing diverse characters
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Huma opened up about playing diverse characters in work projects. The actress said she feels honored to play varied characters like a Chief Minister in Maharani to Juhi in Mithya 2.
"In Mithya: The Darker Chapter, the storyline becomes darker, more evil, and pulpier, making it an incredibly thrilling character to play. I've truly enjoyed this experience, especially because I get to collaborate with such talented actors and an amazing crew," said Huma.
