Directed by Paroma Neotia, the film will hit the theatre on February 10
Ishaa Saha, Anirban Bhattacharya, Arjun Chakraborty, and Anusha Viswanathan’s Mithye Premer Gaan will hit the theatre on February 10. Directed by Paroma Neotia, the film features Anirban as a musician and Ishaa, as a journalist.
This is the second time Ishaa and Anirban are featured opposite each other. Earlier, the duo worked in a Hoichoi miniseries, Detective. Based on Rabindranath Tagore’s work, the series was shot and released during the pandemic. Ishaa explained that she and Anirban did not share many scenes together in that series. “I worked with Anirban in Hoichoi’s Detective. But we had limited interaction in that show. He is a trained actor and this time I was rather scared. Our first scene together was full of my dialogue. I was nervous. But once it started I became very comfortable. He is receptive and very cool If there is a trained actor in front of you, you tend to bring out your best too. Anirban is very flexible and I loved working with him,” she said.
Meanwhile, her other co-actor Arjun is part of the Sonada-franchise. They make a lovable pair in that and their chemistry is already popular. Talking about Arjun, Isha said, “With Arjun, it was difficult. Arjun and I share such a bonding due to our Goptodhon outings that I found it difficult to be serious. I started laughing in intense scenes. But finally, we made it.”
