The comedy thriller Miya Biwi Aur Murder, directed by Sunil Manchanda, has a streaming date. All episodes of the show, starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Manjari Fadnnis, Rushad Rana, Prasad Khandekar, Ritik Dinesh Shah, Ashutosh Pandey, Ana Ilmi, Ashmita Bakshi, Micky Makhija, Vinod Pal, Randeep Malik, among others, will drop on MX Player on July 1.

The series, according to the official description, has a Miya and Biwi, Priya and Jayesh, who are struggling in a dysfunctional marriage of seven years. One night, over the course of seven hours, they will have to set aside their differences and work together to take on devious thieves, dreaded gangsters, blackmailing police officers and a delusional maid to stay alive. As people get poisoned, shots get fired and dead bodies piling on, Miya and Biwi will have to stick together to survive the night. Can they do it? Or do they fall victim to the madness of the night!

Sharing the trailer, Manjari wrote, “This CRAZY series I had such a blast shooting for is about to release on 1st July on MX player! Super thrilled! Here’s the teaser! Miya Biwi Aur Murder! We have literally rolled our asses off laughing while working on this one! Hope u all will love it!”

Speaking to the Times of India about the show, Rajeev said, “The director Sunil, Manjari, I and the rest of the cast was so charged up while shooting for the show that it shows on screen. Miya Biwi Aur Murder was shot during the times when the mood in general was very tense and somber because of the pandemic.” The actor added that the team hoped that the show, which is a dark comedy, would give people a reason to smile/laugh. The hope, he said, was that audiences also enjoy this mad cap comedy thriller.
