MMMN update: Mammootty joins the new schedule of Mahesh Narayanan’s film

Mammootty is teaming up with editor-filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, for an upcoming thriller. The highly anticipated project, which has been tentatively titled MMMN, features Mohanlal in a pivotal role. The movie started rolling in November 2024, after which the team moved to Azerbaijan, for an extensive second schedule, in December 2024. As per the latest updates, Mammootty, Mahesh Narayanan, and the team have kickstarted the new schedule of MMMN, in Sri Lanka.

Recently, the legendary actor was spotted at the airport by the fans, when he arrived in Sri Lanka, for the new schedule of MMMN. As per the latest updates, the new schedule of the Mahesh Narayanan directorial, which is touted to be a political thriller made on a massive scale, will be extensively shot at various locations in Sri Lanka. Along with Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban, who play pivotal roles in MMMN, are also expected to join the new schedule.

MMMN’s upcoming schedules

If the reports are to be believed, Mohanlal is not a part of the first phase of the ongoing MMMN Sri Lanka schedule. The superstar who is currently enjoying a holiday with his family abroad, is expected to finish his pending portions for Vrushabha, the upcoming period film, before resuming his portions in the Mahesh Narayanan directorial. The other details of the ongoing Sri Lanka schedule of the much-awaited film are expected to be out in a few days.

Nayanthara is expected to play the female lead in the upcoming Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer, which features a massive star cast including Darshana Rajendran, Revathy, Siddique, Renji Panicker, and others are part of the film’s star cast. Manush Nandan, the popular Bollywood cinematographer is making his Malayalam cinema debut with the much-awaited. The entire filming of the Mahesh Narayanan directorial is expected to be wrapped up in a time span of over six months.
