Modern Family cast reunite for dinner, but they miss an important member

The Modern Family cast reunited for a cozy dinner recently, and the pictures are a mine of gold for all fans. Actors Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet took to social media to share exclusive photos and videos from the event.

Though the dinner included Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Nolan Gould, and creator of the show, Steve Levitan, it missed actor Ty Burrell’s presence. Though the latter’s reason of absence is not known, cast members refused to miss him in the photos and included him by holding his framed photo.

The Modern Family cast had always been closely knit, since its premiere in 2009. 11 seasons and more than a decade later, the love and bonding of the entire team remains. The dinner reunion is the team’s first get-together since the show ended in 2020. The party showed the entire cast having fun, grooving, sipping on wines, while occasionally indulging in a snack charcuterie board, eclairs, and macarons.

Fans had initially dropped their marbles on seeing the photos, some had even speculated Burrell’s death, courtesy the cast’s black-themed outfits and the actor’s framed photo. A closer look at the photos and captions dissipated the rumor and brought back the party vibe for all. One fan wrote, “Bruh I thought Phil died, I almost had a mini heart attack.”

Another shared, “Had to google and check that Phil was still alive...” A third rightly penned, “The floral arrangement in the middle doesn’t help either...and everyone was wearing black.” An Instagram user cheekily noted, “Typical Phil, making us think the worse. He should have been the robot ipad thing if he couldn’t make it.”
