Modern Love 2 trailer: This time it's about relationships, connections, betrayals, revelations

The trailer of much-awaited Modern Love season 2 is out. After a successful and most-loved season one, the series is returning with a new cast and new stories. The show which is an anthology is based on Modern Love by The New York Times and the second season will stream on Amazon Prime Video from August 13, 2021. 

Actors namely Anna Paquin, Aparna Nancherla, Ben Rappaport, Dominique Fishback, Garrett Hedlund, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Grace Edwards, Isaac Powell, Kathryn Gallagher, Kit Harington, Larry Owens, Lucy Boynton, Maria Dizzia, Minnie Driver, Nikki M. James, Sophie Okonedo, Susan Blackwell, Telci Huynh, Tobias Menzies, Tom Burke, Zane Pais and Zoë Chao are a part of the eight-episode series.

The makers described the premise of Modern Love season 2 as "Love breaks all the rules. This series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms. It brings to life a different story that has been inspired by the New York Times's Modern Love column. The stories are about relationships, connections, betrayals and revelations."

By watching the trailer, one can say, it's all about connections to your loved ones after you find and lose them.

The set for the second season seems to be high on emotion and shows the love that one finds in the most unexpected places and situations.

The directors for Modern Love season two are namely John Crowley, Marta Cunningham, Jesse Peretz and Andrew Rannells along with Celine Held and Logan George.

The anthology returns after a gap of two years. The first season featured established actors such as Andrew Scott, Andy García, Anne Hathaway, Arabella Olivia Clark, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Brandon Victor Dixon, Caitlin McGee, Catherine Keener, Cristin Milioti, Dev Patel, Gary Carr, John Gallagher Jr, John Slattery, Julia Garner, Olivia Cooke, Shea Whigham, Sofia Boutella and Tina Fey.
