Modern Love Mumbai: Iconic ‘I Love Mumbai’ installation made over to celebrate Amazon Prime Video show

Modern Love Mumbai is becoming increasingly popular on Amazon Prime Video. The hype has reached the streets of the city of dreams, with the spectacular 6-part anthology reeling in success since its debut last week. The iconic 'I Love Mumbai' setup at Bandra Reclamation was given a makeover to convey the spirit of compassion among people in Mumbai with a fun outdoor activity. The iconic installation, which has become a famous hangout for the common people, celebrates the series Modern Love Mumbai that stole fans’ hearts.

The cast and crew of the show, which includes Hansal Mehta, Nupur Asthana, Shonali Bose, Bhupendra Jadawat, Meiyang Chang, and Nikhil D' Souza, also came in to see the sight that commemorates their performances, adding to the excitement of the audience.

The series is produced by Pritish Nandy under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said that the team is thrilled to be working with Amazon Prime Video on another prominent franchise like Modern Love, which already has a global fan base. “We believe that, like New York, Mumbai has a captivating appeal that we have investigated and portrayed,” he said.

He further added that with the most delightful cast including Indian and international actors, and even some of the greatest directors, writers, and music creators, Modern Love Mumbai brilliantly presents the various shades of love, set in Mumbai, the city of dreams. Each storyline in this anthology series will grab and capture the hearts of the audience, the producer added.

The Mumbai chapter of John Carney's hugely acclaimed US original anthology series Modern Love, which explored six varied yet universal stories of many angles, colors, and moods of love, has arrived in India. This series brings together six outstanding Indian filmmakers in one of Mumbai's many diverse environments. Modern Love Mumbai includes works of directors Vishal Bhardwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Shrivastava, and Nupur Asthana who have weaved passionate stories.

The episodes in the six-part anthology series are titled Baai, Raat Rani, My Beautiful Wrinkles, I Love Thane, and Cutting Chai. The star cast of the show includes Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bhupendra Jadawat, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Sarika, Danesh Razvi, Ahsaas Channa, Tanvi Azmi, Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik, Dolly Singh, Chitrangda Singh, and Arshad Warsi.
