Vishnu Manchu is producing a film titled Kannappa. Now a story book based on the film was launched in Tirupathi.

It is a known fact that Manchu Vishnu is shooting for his dream project Kannappa. The fantasy drama has wrapped up its second schedule already. We at OTTplay have already reported that Vishnu is also getting the story of Kannappa printed as a book. Well, on the occasion of his father, and legendary actor, Mohan Babu's birthday, Manchu Vishnu launched the book.
What's special is that Malayalam superstar, Mohan Lal graced the occasion and launched the book amidst the students of Sree Vidya Niketan in Tirupathi. Titled "Kannappa Story Book Volume 1, it is a comic book adaptation of the story of Bhakta Kannappa.
Talking about the same he said, "I wanted everyone to know about Kannappa. The comic book, much like the movie, was my dream to reach the most stirring story to the world. I wanted young people to own their history and I am doing my bit for this".
The birthday event of Mohan Babu happened on a grand note and thousands of fans and school kids participated in it. Mohan Lal gave an elaborate speech and said that Mohan Babu is doing a great service to society by educating thousands of kids at a very low price.
Kannappa is being directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and has camerawork by Sheldon Chau. The action is being composed by Kecha Khamphakdee and Prabhu Deva is composing the songs. Vishnu Manchu himself is producing this film on a massive note. Most of the shoot is happening at a brisk pace in New Zealand. Watch this space for more updates.
