Mohanagar trailer: An intense story around crime and corruption

The trailer of Hoichoi’s upcoming project Mohanagar was unveiled on June 19. The one minute 34 second clip takes us into a world of crime and corruption.

Mohanagar, which is a Bengali web series from Bangladesh, revolves around a murder. It is a classic cop-criminal saga but with a twist. The criminal is not actually a criminal but an innocent man who is framed for the murder just because he happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Moreover, his luck runs out to the extent that a corrupt police officer with no conscience handles his case.

Mohanagar, presented for the first time on Hoichoi, features Mosharraf Karim, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Shamol Mawla, Khairul Basar, Zakia Bari Mamo, Nishat Priom and Nasir Uddin Khan in the lead roles. The web series is helmed by Ashfaque Nipun and produced under Shopno Ghuri Productions.

The web show is slated to release on the OTT platform on June 25. Apart from the mobile devices, the series can be streamed from Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, MI Led TV and Samsung Tizen.

Hoichoi had recently unveiled their original show called Mouchaak. It featured Television actress Monami Ghosh in the lead role. She made her web series debut with the show.

Unlike Mohanagar, the show was based and shot in India. It was released on Hoichoi on June 18.
