Mohanlal's latest blockbuster film Thudarum, helmed by Saudi Vellakka director Tharun Moorthy, continues to win love from viewers even a week after its OTT release. Not just die-hard Lalettan fans, even film actors and directors from other industries have been showering praise on the Malayalam thriller. Tharun Moorthy’s third directorial, Thudarum, landed on JioHotstar on May 30, 2025, after enjoying a stellar run at the box office and shattering various records. Upon its OTT release, Thudarum seems to be winning over more star actors and directors. Recently, Tamil filmmaker Selvaraghavan praised Mohanlal as the best actor in India after watching Thudarum. Now, Love Today actor-director Pradeep Rangathan has reached out to Tharun Moorthy after watching Thudarum.
Referring to Tharun as brother, Pradeep said, "Just saw Thudarum.. what a movie, loved it... I felt the emotions of the protagonist ... Extraordinary.. My best wishes for your upcoming films." The Operation Java Director has shared this message by Pradeep on his Instagram stories.

The film then enters the revenge thriller territory as Benz, a former stuntman, vows to take down George Sir and his police force. Prakash Varma played the menacing George Sir, winning appreciation for pulling off such a strong role in his acting debut.
