Ram, the action thriller that marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph, has been put on the back burner for quite some time. The project is expected to roll again, soon.
Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph emerged as the one of most celebrated actor-director duos of Malayalam cinema, with the mega success of Drishyam franchise. The duo teamed up again for the action thriller Ram right before the pandemic. But the project was delayed indefinitely due to multiple lockdowns and logistical issues. However, the recent updates suggest that Ram is set to go on floors very soon.
Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph for Ram in January
If the latest reports are to be believed, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are now set to resume the shooting of Ram, in January 2024. The recent updates suggest that the Malayalam superstar is planning to join the sets of his long-delayed project on January 10, 2024, after he wraps up the next schedule shooting of L2 Empuraan. However, the makers of Ram have not officially confirmed these reports, yet.
The next leg of the shoot is expected to begin in Chennai on January 10. After wrapping up the Chennai schedule, Mohanlal and director Jeethu are also planning to get into the Mumbai and Tunisia schedules of the action thriller, immediately. However, it is yet to be revealed if the team will wrap up the entire filming process of Ram anytime soon. Major updates on the highly anticipated project are expected to be out soon.
For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph had wrapped up multiple foreign schedules of their ambitious project in Morocco and various locations in Europe, last year. However, a couple of schedules are reportedly still pending for the action thriller, which has been slated to hit the theatres in two parts.
