Mohanlal to team up with Pulimurugan’s Vysakh and Udaykrishna next, shoot to begin on November 10

The team of Pulimurugan – actor Mohanlal, director Vysakh and scriptwriter Udaykrishna – are all set to reunite for another entertainer soon. According to reports, the film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor, will go on floors this year itself, after Vysakh completes shooting his film Night Drive.

Mohanlal, who had completed Shaji Kailas’ Alone a few weeks ago, is set to join Vysakh’s movie next, on November 10 in Ernakulam. While further casting and plot of the film are kept under wraps, it’s believed that the movie will be a big-budget entertainer.

Vysakh is currently busy with Night Drive – a thriller that has Indrajith Sukumaran, Roshan Mathew and Anna Ben in the lead. The movie, which is scripted by Abhilash Pillai, is currently being shot in Ernakulam. Udaykrishna, meanwhile, had last year teamed up with B Unnikrishnan for a Mohanlal-starrer titled Aaraattu.

The film, which has Mohanlal playing a real-estate tycoon named Neyyattinkara Gopan, is currently scheduled to hit theatres on February 10, 2022. The movie will also mark the superstar’s first theatrical release after the pandemic, considering that his magnum opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham has ostensibly opted for a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal also has a few more films lined up. These include Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial Bro Daddy. Mohanlal and Prithviraj will be seen in full-length roles in the feel-good movie that also has Kalyani Priyadarshan and Unni Mukundan. Mohanlal has also wrapped up the shoot of Jeethu Joseph’s 12th Man and Shaji Kailas’ Alone. Incidentally, all three movies are rumoured to be OTT releases. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this.
