Mohanlal’s performance in Thudarum: THIS technician drops major updates

Mohanlal is all set to step into a new phase in acting career in 2025, with some promising projects in his kitty. The Malayalam superstar is planning to begin next year with the release of Thudarum, the upcoming Malayalam family drama film directed by Tharun Moorthy. Mohanlal is set to drop his larger-than-life image for the upcoming film, which is gearing up for a January 2025 release. Recently, cinematographer Faiz Siddiq dropped a major update on the superstar’s performance in the film.

Mohanlal to win hearts with his performance in Thudarum

In a recent interview with a Malayalam online media, cinematographer Faiz Siddique opened up about Mohanlal’s performance in Thudarum. The renowned DOP revealed that he watched some visuals from the upcoming Tharun Moorthy directorial, and the film has come out really well. According to the Faiz Siddique, Mohanlal’s performance in Thudarum is at par with his iconic performance as Sivan Kutty, in the Blessy directorial, Bhramaram. The cinematographer revealed that he conveyed the same to the superstar, in person.

Apart from making a comeback to the ‘family man’ space with his role in Thudarum, Mohanlal is reportedly also set to impress the fans with his powerful performance. According to Faiz Siddique, the veteran actor is a treat to watch in the emotional scenes of the upcoming Tharun Moorthy directorial. He further added that the National Award-winning filmmaker has captured Mohanlal’s performance very well in the film, which is one of the most anticipated projects of 2025.

All about Thudarum

In the recently released Thudarum making video, director Tharun Moorthy revealed that Mohanlal is playing a character that audiences might relate to from their neighborhoods, in the film. The director also confirmed that Mohanlal’s much-celebrated chemistry with Shobana is one of the main highlights. Mohanlal and Shobana are expected to play a middle-aged couple in the film, which stars Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Binu Pappu, and others in the supporting roles.
