Mohit Raina hints at Mumbai Diaries season 2 as the web series celebrates its second anniversary

Mohit Raina has been celebrating the second anniversary of his web series, Mumbai Diaries: 26/11. The show was a real-life account on what the doctors of the Mumbai attacks were dealing with on the fateful day of 26/11. The actor has now hinted at a new season of the show. He shared a post which fans believe is his indirect confirmation of the second season.

Mohit shared an Instagram post while celebrating two-year anniversary of Mumbai Diaries. “And to sound as cliché as it gets, ‘Picture Abhi Baaki hain Mere Dost.’ Jaldi Milte hain. Love, Mohit,” he wrote at the end of his post.

Is Mumbai Diaries season 2 happening?

There is no direct confirmation on Mumbai Diaries season 2. However, Mohit’s post has raised a lot of speculations that the show might just get a second season. The question remains, will it be the same topic with a new perspective or a new topic altogether?

What was Mumbai Diaries all about?

Mumbai Diaries was based on the terrorist attacks of 2008, which got many killed and more injured. Doctors had to work overnight and look at the cases without fear of a terrorist attack. Their fear came alive when there was a terrorist attack in the hospital. The Mumbai attacks including usage of both AK-47s as well as bombs. Many who were deceased were beyond recognition. The bombings lasted for four long days across Mumbai. On November 29, the last attacker was killed in Taj Hotel under Operation Black Tornado. Mohit played the role of Dr. Kaushik Oberoi on the show. The show was helmed by Nikkhil Advani, who had directed P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke and Hasmukh by the time on OTT. He was also the writer of the show. The web series was co-directed by Nikhil Gonsalves.
