Mohomaya 2 trailer: Swastika Mukherjee’s psychological thriller gears up for a gripping return

After an intriguing first season, Hoichoi dropped the trailer of the second instalment of Mohomaya on May 16. The psychological thriller starring Swastika Mukherjee, Ananya Chatterjee and Bipul Patra is set to release on May 21.

The trailer starts with Rishi (Bipul), who moves into a new house as a paying guest, with the intention of not leaving anytime soon. Rishi’s constant chats with Aruna (Swastika) also upset her husband. The video also gives us glimpses of Rishi’s past with his mother, who kills herself.

The first season revolved around Rishi and focused on his present and his past as a teenager. This season of the Kamaleswar Mukherjee directorial will continue the storyline from where it ended in the first instalment.

The series’ lead actress Swastika is known for her roles in Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Dil Bechara. She was also praised for her performance in the Amazon Prime Video series, Paatal Lok. Last year, she was also seen in ZEE5’s original series Black Widows alongside Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty and Sharad Kelkar. Meawhile, National Award winner Ananya was part of hit movies such as Abohomaan and Teen Kanya.
