Mohanlal to recieve Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2023
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2023 will be given to Malayalam actor Mohanlal, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Mohanlal will get the honour on September 23, 2025, during the 71st National Film Awards ceremony. Mohanlal has acted in more than 350 films in a variety of genres as well as languages. He won multiple honours, such as the Padma Shri and prestigious Padma Bhushan civilian awards along with five National Film Awards.
The Government of India is pleased to announce that Shri Mohanlal will be given the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 on the recommendation of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award Selection Committee, the I&B Ministry announced.
