Mollywood Times release: Naslen-starrer to hit the big screen with Kattalan and Athiradi?

Malayalam director Abhinav Sunder Nayak's film Mollywood Times, which stars Naslen is expected to be released in theatres soon. Online rumours indicate that this film will probably be released in May 2026, even if the producers have not confirmed a specific date.

Mollywood Times to clash with Athiradi, Kattalan?

Rumour has it that the movie will be released in theatres during the extended school break in May. If this is the case, Mollywood Times would probably be shown in theatres with two other much awaited films, Athiradi and Kattalan. The day before the Basil Joseph-Tovino Thomas-starrer's May 15 premiere, Pepe's action thriller will be released. According to speculations, Vismaya Mohanlal's Thudakkam may also have its theatrical debut in May. A release date announcement for Mollywood Times is anticipated in the coming days.

Mollywood Times latest poster and other details

The first poster for this much anticipated film was released on January 1 along with other Malayalam film announcements. By showing Naslen with a video camera and an early 20s appearance, it implies that he is an aspiring filmmaker in this coming-of-age-drama. Moviegoers are thrilled by the poster, which is based on the turmoil of the film industry and is designed to resemble a vintage DVD cover. It also has a tagline at the end of the image saying do not watch this film if you believe in the myth of a happy existence. 

The director of Mukundan Unni Associates, Abhinav Sunder Nayak, is in charge of Mollywood Times, which is available on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. The screenplay of this Naslen-starrer has been written by Ramu Sunil. More information on the crew and actors is unknown, though.
