Fans of Money Heist are currently sharing a bittersweet moment while waiting for their beloved heist drama to wow them for the last time on Netflix with their final volume of season 5. Meanwhile, let’s get a glimpse of what the drama has in store for us with the latest trailer dropped by the digital platform.
Carrying a melancholy tune for a trailer music, the video opens to a scene of a swarm of people, in support of the heist team, gathering around the car being driven by The Professor. It cuts to the next scene where the professor looks at a great distance carrying a grave expression as he enters the bank escorted by the police. Characters start to mourn the death of Tokyo followed by the Professor’s devastation where he believes he has destroyed everyone. The rest of the trailer follows a series of goodbyes which accompanies the wordings ‘The world’s greatest heist comes to an end’ in bold letters. The characters on the show seem to gear themselves up to execute one last heist and look like they will not stop, no matter what. The trailer ends with the police ganging up on the heist team who are forced to surrender.
To catch up with Volume 1 of Money Heist Part 5, things didn’t seem to go well for the Professor and the team. We got to see Tokyo sacrificing herself to give time for the team to escape when the Spanish troops closed in on them inside the Bank of Spain. She goes down with a bang, when she pulls all the grenades carried by her resulting in the killing of Gandia and the soldiers. Whether or not the team will make it out alive will be revealed in Volume 2.
Money Heist Part 5 Volume 2 is all set to drop on Netflix on December 3, where you can catch the fate of the Professor and the team. We have our fingers crossed too!
