Yesterday marked the beginning of the end for La Casa De Papel or the popularly known Money Heist series on Netflix. The fifth and final season is here, and Instagram stories, Facebook walls and Whatsapp statuses are flooded with the images of the gang of revolutionary thieves led by Professor.
As soon as the series premiered on Netflix, Alvaro Morte, who plays the ‘Professor’ in the series, posted a groupfie with the cast and crew of Money Heist. They all got together to watch the final season of the acclaimed show.
The first part of the series consisting of five episodes as per the two-part volume of the finale was released on Friday, taking the story ahead from where it ended in Season 4.
The fourth season ended with a cliffhanger showing the heist team inside the Bank of Spain surrounded by the Spanish Army ready to storm in. They decide to fight back rather than backing away. Meanwhile, Professor has declared war when he was taken at gunpoint by Inspector Alicia Sierre who seems to have some other plans in mind for him.
