The neo-noir film Monica, O My Darling, is a tribute to films where the ideal scheme results in mayhem in the lives of the participants. In this whodunnit criminal drama where survival is the key, you'll encounter lust, blackmail, betrayal, blood, mystery, and some robots breaking human skulls as you ride the dark and devilish roller coaster with your favourite actors.
In a statement, director Vasan Bala said that Monica, O My Darling has been a dream project for him, and he cannot wait to thrill everyone with this twisted crime comedy overflowing with intrigue and drama. It has been a true pleasure for him to work with Matchbox Shots, Netflix, and the stellar ensemble cast to bring this original story to life.

Routray said that they are incredibly delighted to join Netflix on this fantastic neo-noir Monica, O My Darling, directed by Vasan Bala, to audiences internationally in over 190 countries. Monica, O My Darling, which is being directed by Vasan Bala and is being made by Matchbox Shots, will include an outstanding ensemble cast that includes Rajkummar Rao, Huma S. Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Sikandar Kher, Bagavathi Perumal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sukant Goel, and Zayn Marie Khan.
Meanwhile, Apte, who plays the lead in Monica, O My Darling, opened the Tudum event, and began the show with an epic musical number starring Rao and Huma. She, as you may have noticed in the show, didn't fully recognise herself in her role.
In the video, we also saw Qureshi dancing to a retro number and donning a sizzling look.
