After the huge success and appreciation Darlings garnered, Netflix is gearing up to bring another original feature film to audiences in the form of Monica, O My Darling. The streaming giant recently unveiled a new set of stills from the film featuring its lead cast.

The photographs were shared on the official social media handles of Netflix India. The stills featured Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Zayn Marie Khan, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sukant Goel and Sikandar Kher looking impeccably dressed in a range of different scenes. Netflix India captioned the post “All these darlings in one film. Monica, O My Darling coming soon!”

The upcoming film also features Bagavathi Perumal in a prominent role, although the actor is absent from the new stills released by Netflix India.. Vasan Bala has written and directed the film, touted to be a comedy thriller.

The film is produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil under the banner of Matchbox Shots. The film will reportedly revolve around the story of a man who tries to ‘make it big’ and forms an allyship with some unlikely people to execute a murder.

Netflix India recently announced its upcoming line up of feature films at an event in Mumbai recently held to celebrate its 25th anniversary . The upcoming Hindi titles include Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya starring Tabu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi; Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat; Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor; Shashanka Ghosh’s Plan A Plan B starring Riteish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia; Prosit Roy’s Chakda Xpress featuring Anushka Sharma in the lead role; Anvita Dutt’s Qala starring Tripti Dimri and Babil Khan; and Yashowardhan Mishra’s Kathal featuring Sanya Malhotra and Vikram Pratap ; among others.
