The Mohanlal starrer Monster is another one of the most anticipated films of this year. The team headed by director Vysakh has recently announced the wrap of their shoot, leaving the fans even more excited. The assistant editor’s social media post reveals the shoot wrap and much more about the same.
Sharing the picture of the team, Shafeeque penned a heartfelt note in the caption. “Glorious 55 days of shooting with Lalettan,” the note reads. He also thanked the director in the latter part of the caption.
Monster was announced in the latter half of last year along with the first look of Mohanlal from the movie. The actor could be seen wearing a turban, and his character was titled "Lucky Singh" in the poster. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
The movie is highly anticipated as the Vysakh-Mohanlal duo last collaborated on the blockbuster Pulimurugan. The 2016 movie has re-written the box office history of Malayalam cinema after a gap. Besides being a commercial success, the movie was also widely accepted by the audience, with Mohanlal’s character creating an iconic style. As the duo is coming together again for a movie, fans expect nothing less than a blockbuster.
Monster is written by Uday Krishna, who is known for films like Runway, Mayamohini, Dosth, Kammath, Kammath, and Pulimurugan. The movie also stars actors like Lakshmi Manchu, Honey Rose, and Sudev Nair.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal was last seen in the Priyadarshan directorial Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham. The actor is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated Bro Daddy next, helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
