Moonbin, a well-known member of the K-pop boy band ASTRO, passed away suddenly on Wednesday at the age of 25. His death's precise cause is still a mystery. The ASTRO group confirmed the death of Moonbin by posting an official statement on Instagram in Korean.

According to the official statement, which is approximately translated into English, Fantagio stated that they sincerely apologise for having to inform of such tragic and devastating news. ASTRO member Moonbin abruptly departed on April 19 and turned into a star in the sky. The ASTRO members, together with their colleagues Fantagio artists and executives, are truly grieving the departed with tremendous sadness and shock, even if it cannot be compared to the anguish of the bereaved family who lost their beloved son and sibling.

According to many sources, the ASTRO member's manager discovered him dead at home and called the police. The statement continued that it's even more agonising to break the unexpected news to Moonbin's supporters and well-wishers. They are more devastated since they understand the decedent's heart, which was filled with love and consideration for his admirers beyond all else.
