The actress, who will soon be seen playing the character of Galadriel in The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, was overjoyed to learn that she’s got the part in this cult classic.

Every actor dreams of being part of films and shows that enjoy cult following around the world. For actress Morfydd Clark, that dream has turned into a mind blowing reality.
Recently, during a media interaction, Morfydd Clark was asked about her reaction upon learning that she’s got the part.
"…It was my agent, who said, ‘You got it, you got it, but you can't tell anyone’,” she recalled, before adding that was getting her makeup done at a hotel when the good news reached her.
"At the premiere, the whole time I was thinking, 'Wow I got the job in The Rings of Power,” the actress shared, and further revealed that she had actually fainted on stage while doing the Q&A sessions after watching it, which she thought was ‘lovely’.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an Amazon Prime Video series set thousands of years ago, and explores the Middle-earth Second Age.
The cast includes impressive names, such as, Benjamin Walker, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, CharlieVickers, Sophia Nomvete, along with Nazanin Boniadi, Dylan Smith, Markella Kavenagh, among others.
The series will start streaming globally on Amazon Prime Video from September 2, 2022. It will be available to viewers in six languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in India.
