Sonali Bendre, last seen in The Broken News season 2, has extended her warm wishes to all mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day today. The actress, who plays Amina Qureshi in the series streaming on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium, shared the sweetest message for all the moms out there. “No role is played with more honesty than that of a mother!,” Zee5 shared while posting the video.

Sonali recorded a message in order to wish all the mothers out there. She said, “The first love. The first and forever best friend. A mother is always the beginning of everything. To all the beautiful mothers out there, loads of love from my side and wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day.”
Amina Qureshi in The Broken News S2
Sonali played the role of Amina Qureshi in The Broken News and the second season. Being the editor-in-chief to imprisoned Radha Bhargava (played by Shriya Pilgaonkar), Amina takes it upon herself to keep Radha safe in prison and also get her out on bail as soon as possible. She keeps her promise and Radha is finally out of prison. Amina guides Radha all the way, especially during Radha’s rift with Dipankar Sanyal (played by Jaideep Ahlawat). Amina is of the belief to not let emotions rule when it comes to journalism.
Dipankar is the reason Radha was tagged as a terrorist on National Television and thus, eventually imprisoned. It, obviously, was a false claim. Nonetheless, Radha’s life is in danger in the second season. There was an attempt to murder as the Radha-Dipankar battle got more intense than ever.
