Roshan Kanakala made his debut with the romantic drama Bubble Gum. But sadly, the film ended as a huge flop at the box office, disappointing the star son of Rajeev Kanakala and Suma.

However, he is back with his new film Mowgli, directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Sandeep Raj, who last made Colour Photo, now streaming on OTTplay Premium.
The makers of the film have released the teaser, and it looks quite intense. Sandeep Raj takes the basic essence of the story from the Ramayana and sets it in modern times in a forest area.
The hero, Roshan, is showcased as a man whose dream is to become a police officer, and he falls for a girl who is mute. Things change when a ruthless cop enters the scene and takes away the heroine, played by Sakkshi Mhadolkar.
Small-time actor Bandi Sanjay plays a key role, and he steals the show in the promo. Sandeep Raj showcases the hero in a mass avatar, but his grip on the emotions is quite strong. The forest visuals and action are neatly aided by Kaala Bhairava's stellar background score.
