Mr and Mrs Mahi starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles is all set to release in cinemas on 31st May 2024. The film has been anticipated by the fans since its trailer captivated everyone's attention. Rajkummar and Janhvi are collaborating for the second time with this film, after their first on-screen appearance with Roohi. Touted as a romantic drama, where cricket clashes with romance, the film is helmed by Sharan Sharma.

The film, which has a run time of 2 hours and 19 minutes, is expected to be on approximately 1000 screens in India, according to a Pinkvilla report. Another factor that could work for the film is that it is releasing on Cinema Lovers Day and hence all the ticket prices on 31st May are priced at Rs 99 across multiplex chains in India. This could work in the favor of the film as almost all cinema houses will be filled on that day. Considering that Mr. And Mrs. Mahi is a new release, people will prefer watching it over anything else.
As per reports till today, 29th May, the film has sold 27,600 tickets in the top three national chains, PVRInox and Cinepolis. Going by the advance booking trend and the buzz around the film, Mr. And Mrs. Mahi is expected to open in the range of 3.5 crore to 5 crore on its first day of release.
Once the ticket prices get back to normal from the second day, the expectations from the film lie somewhere between 6-7 crore, but it all also depends on the word of mouth and the reviews that the film receives.
