Mr And Mrs Mahi: Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor starrer goes on floors

Dharma Productions' highly anticipated film Mr And Mrs Mahi begins shooting today. The Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer sports drama was announced by Karan Johar's production giant last year. The upcoming movie marks the second collaboration of the Bollywood duo post Roohi.

KJo's Dharma Production shared the latest update on Mr And Mrs Mahi from their official Instagram handle. The makers shared an image of a clapperboard mentioning the name of the forthcoming flick. The IG post reads, "The field is set and team #MrAndMrsMahi is all geared up! Day 1 of shoot begins! (sic)."

The ace filmmaker announced the projects last year in November with a motion poster on Instagram. The video displays the name of the film, the lead actors and their characters in the movie. Rajkumar and Janhvi's voiceover comes from the background that says that sometimes to achieve a single dream two people are required. 

Karan shared it with an adorable caption that reads, "One dream, chased by two hearts. Presenting #MrAndMrsMahi, directed by Sharan Sharma who is back with another heart-warming story to tell with his touch of magic! Starring Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor, a partnership to look forward to. See you on the field aka the cinemas on 7th October, 2022. (sic)."

Backed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, the cricket themed movie has been written by Nikhil Mehrotra, and Sharan Sharma. 

The Sharan Sharma directorial stars Rajkummar as Mahendra and Janhvi as Mahima. Mr And Mrs Mahi is slated to release in theatres on October 7.
