Mr Idiot: Director K Raghavendra Rao unveils the first look of Ravi Teja's nephew Maadhav Bhupathiraju’s debut

Ravi Teja has been in the news as the producer of this week’s release - the crime comedy Changure Bangaru Raja, starring Karthik Rathnam, Goldie Nissy, Satya, Ravi Babu. He now awaits the release of his first pan-Indian film Tiger Nageswara Rao, directed by Vamsee on October 20. Meanwhile, his nephew Maadhav Bhupathiraju is set to make his acting debut with a film titled Mr Idiot, whose first look was launched by K Raghavendra Rao (and Ravi Teja).

While sharing the first look of Mr Idiot on social media, Ravi Teja wrote, “Wishing @maadhav_9999 a very Happy birthday. Here's the first look of #MrIdiot, Best wishes to the entire team :)))” In the first look shared by the star, Maadhav, sporting a blazer, is head over heels in love with his on-screen romantic interest. Simran Sharma plays the female lead in the entertainer.

JJR Ravichand is bankrolling the film under JJR Entertainments while Yalamanchi Rani is the presenter. Anup Rubens is scoring the music for the contemporary romance whose crew comprises production designer Kiran Kumar Manne, editor Viplav Nyshadam and cinematographer Raam. Gowri Ronanki has also written the story of Mr Idiot, named after Ravi Teja’s blockbuster Idiot.

During the title launch, director Gowri Ronaki expressed confidence that she’s here to deliver a beautiful film and that it was shaping up well with several quality technicians on board. The producer had said he was very satisfied with the director’s execution and that the team is leaving no stone unturned to deliver a quality product. Mr Idiot is expected to release in the first half of November.

JJR Entertainments had previously produced #Bro (not to be confused with the Pawan Kalyan-Sai Dharam Tej starrer), the remake of the Marathi film Happy Journey, starring Naveen Chandra, Avika Gor, Sai Ronak and Sanjana Sarathy, that released directly on the OTT platform Sony LIV in 2021.
